I am looking for a science-fiction book that is not YA, but nothing graphic either. I like books about withes, vampires, werewolves, and other supernaturals. A very short summary with your recommendation would be great. Thanks!

My recommendation is the JRR Tolkien series…he’s absolutely amazing. It doesn’t have vampires or werewolves but it’s just beautifully written.

Also, if you’re into romance: any book by Katie MacAlister. She writes about vampires. You have to be careful with hers…some of them are YA, but most are adult. Lynsay Sands & Gena Showalter & Kerrelyn Sparks are all excellent romantic vampire writers… Hope this helps.

The Cast/Chronicals of Elantra series by Michelle Sagara that starts with Cast in Shadow.

It’s a series about a city where humans live with different mythical races (Dragons, Liontines [humanoid cats], etc.). It’s got magic, romance, drama, action, etc.

A lot of good supernatural series are published by Luna.
