I am looking for an old science fiction book about somebody who gos back in time to try and find Jesus. Whilst he is on his search he uses his superior knowledge of medicine etc to heal people and perform what are concevied as miracles and obtains the name of jesus of nazaroth. In the end he ends up acting out what we believe to be Jesus’s life and ends up getting crusified. For the life of me I cant remember or find out what the book is called, please help!!

It’s not the one above (that’s recent) nor is it a parody called Fishyfleshed.
I remember the book well. It’s called ‘Behold the Man’ and it’s by Michael Moorcock. It was written in the late 60’s.
